The AEROSMITH SAGA IS ON, The Joe Perry Project will open for Bad Company in England in April 2010.
Joe Perry
Would 'Definitely' Consider Getting Female Singer To Front AEROSMITH.
Things are getting ugly:
An attorney representing Tyler sent a letter to AEROSMITH's manager, Howard Kaufman, telling Kaufman to "immediately cease and desist from engaging in acts and conduct to the harm and detriment of your own client, AEROSMITH, and our client who is one of its members," according to Billboard.com. The move was seen as Tyler's way of issuing a warning to the group and its management should they go forward with plans to enlist a new lead singer while Tyler completes a stint in rehab and possibly pursues his own solo project.

Tyler's lawyer, Skip Miller, told Billboard.com that he's called a meeting of what he described as AEROSMITH's "shareholders" for February 9 to discuss recording a new album and touring Europe and South America later this year.

Miller's letter to Kaufman states, "We reserve all of our legal rights and remedies in this matter, including, without limitation, pursuing legal action for damages and other appropriate relief."

Despite this, Miller said, "Steven Tyler does not want lawsuits. We do not want to go in that direction. The direction we want is AEROSMITH, with Steven Tyler, touring in Europe, touring Latin America, releasing a new album . . . It's just amazing to me current management would be taking any other position."

Joe Perry also confirmed that Steven Tyler auditioned for "Led Zep" a few months ago. Jimmy Page said that the audition was " Shambolic" that Tyler wasn't familiar with the catalogue and thought he would work on new material.

Holly Miranda @ L' Album de la Semaine Paris Feb 2nd 2010

Holly Miranda @ L' Album de la Semaine, Canal+
Paris Feb 2nd 2010

setlist

Holly Miranda is going solo, she's usually playing with The jealous Girl Friends.
Miranda's debut album The Magician's Private Library, is due out February 23.
Many people are talking about her in very good terms.
Music between Cat Power & Feist, she's young and good looking but the music is in fact not that great, hard to single out a very good song.
Could have been better.

Fool's Gold @ C'est Lenoir Black Session #310 Paris Feb 1st 2010

Fool's Gold @ C'est Lenoir, Black Session # 310
Paris, Maison de la Radio Feb 1st 2010
Straight after Canal+, we rushed to the Maison de la radio for this Black session.
I didn't know what to expect at all, I was invited and when the DJ introduced them as playing Western African Music with a Israeli singing in Hebrew, my first thought was that it's gonna be boring.
And I was ... right .
The first two songs were OK but after the 3rd I started getting bored to death.
I hate that shit. So boring I'm a rocker for fuck's sake ;-)

The Black Box Revelation @ L' Album de la Semaine Canal+ Paris Feb 1st 2010

The Black Box Revelation @
L' Album de la semaine, Canal+ Paris feb 1st 2010

Another duet with just a drummer & a guitar player-singer, this time they're coming from Belgium.
The music is minimalist à la White stripes or Black keys.
Lots of guitars , cool melodies, that's the Rock'n roll I dig.
They've done 7 songs tonight, for this Canal+ TV show, plus 2 they've already done.
Very nice set
Check this official video, they have a new album out:
